The means of Passive Protection will always be more effective than the Active Protection equipment when it comes to controlling the risks from falling.
Another difference is that the Passive Protection in addition to being more effective in the control of risks, in the time of deploy that there is a greater outlay, but the long-term and does not require additional payout if not to much only requires minimum maintenance, or null.
In contrast, the Protection Activates in addition to being less effective in the hierarchy of risk control, the purchase of equipment may require a lower payout than the Passive, but in the long run the company will require to continue paying in the purchase of a renewal of equipment, in addition to that it requires time to perform and manage the inspection of equipment generating greater uncertainty to the company does not know if the staff is using damaged equipment with the risk of not responding at the moment to generate an impact for fall.
